Overview
Rügen doctor Nora Kaminski fondly recalls her student-day flatshare with her later husband Peer, musician Christiane, and actor Olaf. A sailing trip on Peer’s boat promises a long-awaited reunion for the once-inseparable quartet. But shortly after arriving on Rügen, Christiane suffers a fainting spell, and Olaf complains of feeling unwell. Instead of heading to sea, both end up in the practice. Neither Nora nor her colleague Dr. Hannes Stresow can pinpoint the causes. When Christiane collapses soon after, concern grows. The doctor without a title takes a closer look at her friends and uncovers issues that aren’t medical in nature. Shattered life and career dreams are weighing on Christiane and Olaf. Now, it’s up to Nora and Peer to help their old friends, which means confronting the present and processing the past.
