Overview
While filming a commercial, Ma Ke, a seasoned filmmaker, remembers a film he ultimately didn't make in his youth: the story of a character who investigates the mysterious disappearance of his mother. In reality, the producer of this abandoned project saw his daughter mysteriously disappear, leaving behind a camera and a few photos. In his imagination, Ma Ke seems to dive into a dream of unsuspected depth. Between memory, reality and imagination, three stories will mingle.
